Frequently asked questions
Can I take the Dutch driving exam in English?
The theory exam is available in English. During the practical exam the examiner speaks Dutch, but simple instructions like turn left or turn right are easy to follow. Sam prepares you for exactly the phrases the examiner uses.
Do you really teach in Persian?
Yes. Sam speaks Persian (Farsi/Dari) natively, alongside Dutch and English. You can do your entire driving education in Persian, which no other driving school in the Meppel region offers.
I have a foreign driving licence. Can I exchange it?
That depends on the country that issued it. Some licences can be exchanged directly, others require you to pass the Dutch exams. Check the RDW website for your situation. If you need to take the exam, a few refresher lessons with Sam are usually enough to get used to Dutch traffic rules.
